This was my first Simple Minds gig and I can remember it very well. We arrived very early in Rotterdam to have a place nearby the stage. I was overwhelmed when entering the stadium. Wooow, what a stage, what a nice stadium, so big! The silencers were special guests and I only remeber the song Scottich Rain and that one of the bandmembers slipped when they entered the stage.

Then finally, Simple Minds came on stage. What an experience to see them for the first time live un such an environment. I remember having a severe headache at the end of the concert caused by the emotions, the loudness the atmosphere, but what an evening this was.
