Some facts: Andy was playing keyboards! Eddie was in top form, Mel also! Jim seemed to be very nervous. When he came on stage, he said: we´re going to play some new songs and some old songs and we´re going to make a lot of noise... That was true, they did !!! And how they did it!! I´ve been told it would be a 45 minutes set, but it was 70 minutes. And the new songs !!! They are just perfect! SV was a perfect opener (Eddie!!!), followed by a powerful Home. Also Different world and Stranger are great live songs. They also did Jeweller in the soundcheck, but not in the concert, unfortunately. Sounded good! Charlie seemed to have some problems with his guitar, but that didn´t stop him from smiling at us. A reporter from Radio ffh told us that Jim was listening to his ipod the whole afternoon because of the lyrics. He seemed to be very afraid to loose the words, but he sang great!!! Btw, nice haircut Jim, but the shoes !!!! No way !!!

The old Songs were also performed perfect. Ghostdancing incl Gloria and esp New gold dream, very powerful, love this song live !!!! There was no chance to meet the band after the gig, I think they were going straight to Frankfurt :-( But some of us made an interview with FFH and we had to sing Home... That was it. It was over too soon and now I can´t wait for the tour to begin !!!!
See you all there, Doris (Review by Doris, thanks a lot for that)
