Comments (e-mail your concert review here): Simple Minds played their first gig this year and it's good that they are on stage again. Rockin In The Free World was played without rehearsing and even the band members didn't knew all that this was planned. It wasn't a success, but hey, it's live! Two new songs were played from the new album Grafitti Soul: Rockets and This Is It. A rather short setlist, usual at festivals and therefore the choise playing Mandela Day is odd.
After hearing some audio recordings of this gig, the boys have to rehears a little bit more to get it right again. Listen to Rockin In The Free World if you can.......
