My name is Bart, born in 1971, standing here together with Eddy, after the soundcheck in Hellendoorn in 2004. I'm a fan of the Simple Minds since 1986 and my first gig attented was during the Street Fighting Years tour. I visited the Feyenoord stadium, and saw the perform in front of 50.000 people and it was great. My first album I bought was New Gold Dream, and it's still my all time favorite. |

Link to the official website of Simple Minds. Although they do their best it's not a favorite place to be for me. Nice thing on this website however are the journals of Jim. In general there are to many mistakes on the website and they are always very late with news. |

This is said many times, but I want to repeat it here again: this is the most up to date website I have ever seen on the internet (where else can you find websites ;-) With the Redux version already available on the internet these two websites are a must for evey Simple Minds fan. With the Redux version of the Dream Giver site, Simon is working on something incredible. Have a look and see for yourself. I really can't understand why Simple Minds didn't offer him a job as their webmaster. So much info, so much knowledge about the band and the history.......Check it out! |
